The Mog > Inside
Like it or not, the toilet is a pretty important space inside Moglet. The ability to have a pee in private, or have a shower (when water allows) without having to leave the house is not to be underestimated!
The image on the far left is the pop up sink. I'm sure all the veteran caravanners or boat owners out there will be more than familiar with these, but I'd never used one before and thought it was marvellous! To have a sink with no plug hole is odd enough, but to then be able to tip it up, full of water, and have the water magically vanish had me chuckling all afternoon!
The tap in the centre is actually a shower head, you pull it out from where it lives in the sink, the hose follows on behind, and you can clip it into the shower stand in the second picture.
The shower tray slopes quite sharply compared to a 'normal' one, allowing for variations in ground levels, hopefully ensuring that water will always drain away, There's a plastic slatted tray which sits on top, around 3cm thick, to keep your feet out of any puddles, just in case.
The black circle in the bottom right of the picture is a hot air vent, more on that in the Utilities section.
The toilet is a standard marine one, with a vacuum pump action. Takes a bit of getting used to, but seems to work very well. In the picture above, the one with the shower curtain, you can see a circular fixing - this is a carbon filter, to stop any nasty smells drifting up from the waste tank. Again, will be covered more in Utilities.
Final comment on the loo - if you're about to fit one, I highly recommend changing the seat for a plastic one - ceramic is damn cold first thing in the morning!!
