The Mog

Here's a few shots from the outside. As you can see, she's a bit of a beast! Click on the image to the right to go to Photobox.

From the image on the right, you can see two doors. The larger door at the back is the main access into the 'house' section. It's split into two parts, so you can lock closed the bottom half and still have a view/fresh air with the top half open. This also reduced the likelihood of falling out the door while using the kitchen area! You can just about make out a metal bar at the bottom of the door - this is the underside of the bottom rung of the ladder, which pulls out and locks in place so you can actually get in! There's an additional ladder which attaches to a variety of anchor points around Moglet, for use when you're parked up for longer periods.

The small door, closer to the front of the vehile, is where the gas bottle lives. The cupbaord is also vented and has a cloped floor with drainage holes, so you can hang up an wet weather gear, rather than bring it into the back.

Above the gas cupboard and passenger cab door is a standard awning. We're in the process of getting side and front panels made for this, so we can enclose it a bit more if we need to. I'll also be making an additional section so that, when extended, the shaded area can be increased.

On the left hand picture above, you can see another access panel. This door hinges along the top, opening up to provide access to the 'garage'. This is a space 1m squared for all the mechanical things we need to take, as well as any outdoor thing, like chairs, folding bikes etc.

A little further along from that, you can see a black 'bit'. This is the water tank filler - more on that kind of thing in the Utilities section...

The middle picture above shows where the spare wheels get to live. There's also a bicycle rack for up to 60kg (almost enough for monkey bike!), and a ladder. Not quite sure what this one is for, so it may get left behind.

From the back, you can see the bumper we had made up. Although we decided not to go for a winch in the end, it's got the space and the mounting points, in case we change our mind...

And thats Jason trying to hide underneath!
