Leaving Home

The Route > UK

The plan back in August was to spend a couple of months getting the house ready to be rented out, then head off around the UK for a few weeks as a practice run. This would give Jason more time to get used to driving Moglet, as well as an opportunity for both of us to see what works/doesn't work with the layout etc. We're pretty sure the learning curve will continue for months into the trip, but we'd rather get as much tweaking done as possible while we're still in the UK. If it all goes to plan, we'll be heading off around the UK some time mid-October, so watch this space...

Well it all almost went to plan - 15th November we ended up leaving our house to start the UK leg of the trip, and there's every possibility we might take a little longer than a couple of weeks as a practice run - we've decided to see a bit of the UK rather than just test Moglet and then bugger off. Living in Suffolk and wanting to go to Scotland means the UK bit is likley to take a little longer than a fortnight... Touring the UK isnt the cheapest way to spend a month or so, but despite it's high cost of living it's a lovely country, and there's bits of it we both want to see before we leave.
