Independent overland travel through Africa in a Unimog called Moglet

I get the feeling this part of the site is going to be the biggest! The quest for gathering information and kitting out Moglet in all the things we think we might need, (without having to sell internal organs to afford it) is an ongoing challenge. Sometimes it's a lot of fun, and othertimes it's a real uphill slog. So, we thought it might be useful to list some of the bits and bobs - some essential and some, quite frankly just a gadget - to maybe make the next persons life a little easier. Seems to me like there's no end of info out there about how to go backpacking your way around the world, but there's much less 'help' when it comes to taking a vehicle with you. Feel free to let me know if you've come across some gems, and I'll add them to the list too :-)
