First up on the 1st was the IT chap, and after four and half hours he managed to get the laptop to connect to the internet! He also did a couple of other bits and bobs, most of which undid themselves shortly after he left... A long morning, but at least I can now upload the site as and when I have internet access. Phew!

We then spent the next few days pottering around, running errands and doing some shopping, as well as painting the cupboard doors for the millionth time. Jason has also been fiddling with a GPS ariel extension so we can hopefully receive a signal while we're driving. As soon as the doors are dry, I can put up some Christmas decorations and make a tiny space feel even more cluttered! :-)

We also went to Cambridge yesterday for another round of jabs - we both had cholera #1, japanese encephalitis #1, and Jason also plumped for tick borne encephalitis #1 too. The latter two arent really necessary for Africa, but as we dont know where we're going after that, its a belt and braces approach. Round 2 is early next week at the same clinic and after that, fingers crossed, we're off!
